The soft shell jacket has been a constant feature within our outerwear collection. The soft shell fabric that has became so popular over the past few years because of its versatility, its ease of wear and also for its highly water repellant and breathable properties. With our outerwear we design it not just to look good but for its technical perspective which needs to deliver on its purpose and comfort for your day to day demands.
The Sloan soft shell is made with 87% polyester and an incredible 17% spandex to give the piece unrivalled ease of movement. It’s also manufactured with an 8000mm water column with is equivalent to 2.5 x British standard water resistant properties. The fabric is also 3000mvp (moisture vaporisation permeability) which is just a big term for how breathable the fabric is. The fabric has been brushed on the inside to give it warmth but light weight and the same time.
There are three Forty brand points on the jacket. There is the rubberised pull tie on the zip, black reflective loop next to the pocket and the metallic nylon sleeve pocket. We have also used a technical waterproof zip feature on the front and pockets not just for functionality but it also look great as a tonal finish.
